Fine lines and wrinkles are a natural part of aging, yet they can take a toll on our self-esteem and confidence.
If you find yourself constantly focusing on crow’s feet and frown lines, you may want to consider wrinkle-relaxing treatments. Wrinkle relaxers are injectable treatments that temporarily paralyze targeted muscles, helping them to relax and minimize the look of fine lines.
There are many different forms of wrinkle-relaxing treatments, such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. One of the newer forms on the market is Jeuvaeu treatment.

Everything You Need to Know About Jeuveau Treatment
What is Jeuveau (“Newtox”)?
Jeuveau is an FDA-approved wrinkle-relaxing treatment that’s used to minimize wrinkles by temporarily relaxing a targeted muscle group. This form of treatment is similar to Botox and Dysport since they all contain botulinum toxin type A.
What is Jeuveau Best at Targeting?
Jeuveau is known primarily for targeting frown lines and wrinkles between the eyebrows.
What Sets Jeuveau Apart From Other Wrinkle Relaxers?
There are many factors that set Jeuveau apart from other wrinkle-relaxing treatments.
Manufacturing Technology
While Jeuveau is made from the same botulinum as Botox and Dysport, the manufacturing process is a bit different. Jeuveau is made in a way that creates a purer form of botulinum toxin type A. This results in an injectable that contains fewer impurities, which is known to reduce the risk of developing antibodies that could decrease the effectiveness of future treatments.
Onset and Duration
The results of Jeuveau treatment tend to set in quicker than competing relaxers, such as Botox. After receiving Jeuveau, patients may begin to see results as early as two days after receiving the injection, whereas Botox results begin to take effect around five days after treatment.
Some patients who have made the switch from Botox to Jeuveau have reported longer-lasting results, however this will vary between patients. On average, both treatments last between three to four months. however some patients have reported.
Results
Due to the lack of impurities found in Jeuveau, some patients have claimed to see smoother and more natural-looking results compared to competing neurotoxins. Similarly, patients who have built a resistance to Botox may experience more effective results with Jeaveau due to its different formulation.
Safety
While Jeuveau, marketed as “Newtox,” is a newer form of treatment, it’s FDA-approved, making it just as safe as other wrinkle-relaxing treatments.
Process of Receiving Jeuveau
The process of receiving Jeuveau is similar, if not identical, to receiving other neurotoxins. Typically, a patient will meet with their provider to make sure Jeuveau is the proper form of treatment based on their medical history and desired results.
From there, the provider will administer the treatment.
You may receive post-care treatment instructions to ensure you achieve the full results. Otherwise, you can go about your day as normal.
